Starlearn AI Receives $25,000 in Cloud Credits from Google for Startups!

We’re thrilled to announce that StarlearnAI has been accepted into the Google for Startups Cloud Program — and awarded $25,000 in Google Cloud credits to help us scale our mission of making AI-powered education more accessible, personalized, and impactful across Africa.

This milestone is a robust validation of our vision: to bridge the education and skills gap for students, educators, and job seekers through innovative, localized technology.




 Why This Matters

In many underserved communities, students struggle with understanding complex courses, teachers are burdened with manual education content creation, and job seekers are left behind due to a skills mismatch. At StarlearnAI, we’re building a unified platform that uses artificial intelligence to:

  • Help learners understand courses with explainers and assignment support

  • Automate lesson plans, quizzes, and assessments for educators

  • Guide job seekers through personalized upskilling paths. 

These cloud credits will enable us to accelerate our development tools, giving us the scalability and infrastructure needed to serve thousands — and eventually millions — of users across low-resource environments.

 What We’re Doing with the Support

Thanks to Google’s backing, we’re now able to:

  • Scale our backend infrastructure to support high volumes of users in multiple countries

  • Improve AI personalization for student learning journeys

  • Build mobile-first, offline-compatible tools for low-bandwidth regions

  • Access training and technical mentorship to strengthen our team and platform

We’re also receiving $500 in Google Cloud Skills Boost credits to further train our developers and team on cloud tools, ensuring we’re building smarter, faster, and more securely.
